After a successful start at the Karlovy Vary film festival, we headed to the next stop - this time to Ostrava.

On Friday, July 18, 2025, the Good Morning Czech Republic team was at Colours of Ostrava!

The music festival in the Moravian-Silesian region is one of the most visited summer events. Not only Ostrava but the whole Czech Republic can be proud of a festival with more than twenty years of tradition. The music program and discussions on important social issues take place in the industrial area of the national cultural monument Dolní oblast Vítkovice, which contains a piece of Czech history.

We were directly in the festival area, in the colors of the initiative we talked with people, collected opinions, asked questions, listened. We were interested in what the Czech Republic means to you, what you think we do well, where we have succeeded as a country - and how to let the world know.
