We want to meet you and talk about the Czech story! During the summer, we will be meeting at festivals and other events throughout the country. As the first, we went to Karlovy Vary - to one of the most important cultural events of the year - Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF).

In Karlovy Vary, you could meet the Good Morning Czech Republic team led by Jan Dlouhý from Czech Centres, who discussed with you, for example, about Czech cinematography - about favorite and successful Czech films. You can see what Czech films Czechs like best here. We also reminded ourselves of the filming of the famous Bond movie Casino Royale right in Karlovy Vary.

The event annually attracts film enthusiasts and acting stars from the Czech Republic and around the world, who all meet on the Karlovy Vary spa colonnade. This unique relaxed atmosphere has a bit of a Czech touch. The festival, by the way one of the oldest in the world, is undoubtedly part of our national image and a window to the world - not just film.

Thank you all for your interest in discussing in the streets of the Czech Republic. The festival in Karlovy Vary was the first, but definitely not the last trip to meet you. In the summer, you will meet us at other festivals throughout the republic - maybe right at your place. We want to listen, collect opinions, look for what connects us, and perceive different perspectives - together to look for a new, confident story of the Czech Republic.
